This is a personal project I took on for various reasons.
UV’s drive me insane. Every chance I have, I avoid having to deal with UV’s like a plague. I was tired of that, wanted to do a project where I was forced to go into Substance Painter and create custom textures, and not have to rely on procedural projected textures for my models.
I have a bunch of fantastic insect and small animal models with no textures, so thought it is a great opportunity to get UV’s for them, and use Substance painter to get some great textures for some macro shots.
Using Cinema 4D, Octane, RizomUV, and Substance Painter.
